OUR POLICIES

Classes

Payment and refund:
- Payment for the entire session must be made by check, cash or credit cards (Visa or Master Card)
before or on the first day of class.
- Early registration with payment is recommended since space is limited.
- If classes are missed, they can be made up attending other scheduled classes, depending on space availability.
- If for any reason a class during a session is being cancelled by The French Art Studio, students will have
the choice of attending another one or getting reimbursed for the cost of that class.

Fees:
- $5 transaction fee for all declined credit card transactions.
- $50 fee for all cancellations (unless class is canceled by The French Art Studio for low enrollment).

Art and Music Store

Shipping:
- Products in stock will ship within 24-48 hours of your order being placed and credit card payment processed.
- If we are unable to ship your order within this time frame, we will contact you.
- Shipping policy will be quoted per order.
- Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.
- International shipping: Contact us.

Sales Tax:
- The French Art Studio is required by law to collect sales tax on sales to California residents.
- Residents of Los Angeles County will be charged sales tax at the Los Angeles County rate.

Payment:
- We accept Visa and MasterCard as well as personal and certified checks.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks (shipping delay) for processing personal checks.
- $5 transaction fee for all declined credit card transactions.

Return and Exchange:
- If an item is not satisfactory, it can be returned for a credit or exchange within 15 days,
provided it has not been altered, damaged or used.
- Knives that have been sharpened, sharpening stones that have been used, and half-processed tube cane
are examples of things that cannot be returned.
- The return policy includes all accessories except shaper tips, non-defective cane and reeds.
- Of course, any defective product can be returned.
- Returned merchandise must arrive to us in perfect saleable condition, in its original packaging,
and must be accompanied by the original store receipt.
- Should you return an item that qualified for free shipping, you will be refunded for the cost of the item,
minus the actual shipping and handling cost of the original package.

Musical Instruments (new & used) and Accessories Trial Policy: Contact us.

Instrument Financing: Not provided at this time.

Warranty on New Musical Instruments:
- Warranties varied by instruments: contact us for detail.
- Our warranty covers all necessary repairs and routine maintenance during normal wear of the instrument.
- These repairs include, but are not limited to: crack repair, pad replacement, tuning, re-corking,
and mechanism adjustments.
- Repairs necessary due to abuse, negligence, or incompetent repairs done by outside repair shops
are not covered under the warranty.
- The warranty is only applicable to the original owner of the instrument.
- All repairs must be done or authorized by The French Art Studio.
Failure to do this may void the warranty.
- Shipping costs to The French At Studio are to be paid by the customer
- The French Art Studio will pay for the shipping costs to return the instrument
during the first 6 months after purchase.
- Insurance costs are the owners responsibility. Repair turnaround times vary,
but we do our best to return instruments as quickly as possible.

Used Musical Instruments:
- We are making sure than all the instruments for sale are in good working condition.
- All sales are final, without warranty or return and exchange.

Customer Privacy:
-Any information collected for registration purpose will only be used by The French Art Studio,
and will not be shared with anyone else.
- We take privacy and data protection issues seriously.
- We do not sell or give away any of your email address or private information.
